Lets start with the beginning, or rather, the end! Not nearly as dirty as a girl/guy would have necessarily ASKED for, but we won't be complaining anytime soon! The dirt was thin! It doesn't really represent the fun had getting it dirty, but in the words of dave berry...

so shoot, I guess before I get too far ahead i should explain that one day we made it a point to head up to red lodge... for a couple reasons, one being Dave had never been before (!!) and two, because well, its rad. and we like rad.

not quite as rad is,

i kind of forgot he was a pitcher.

turns out sunroofs serve more than your normal purpose. for one they make you feel like you're in a video game when tearing down a dirt road and also make the driver feel like she has a gunner. and they work awesome for photo ops... as long as the other guy doesn't mind climbing up on the roof.

anyway, it was all after an early wake up call for an impromptu b-fast/breki with Janelle downtown b-town complete with sunshine, delicious omlettes, cookies, tea, and awesome convo that could have lasted all day, except red lodge and the sweet sweet sunshine was callin our names.... so we said goodbye, made a quick stop at home; change of clothes, CHECK!, couple bottles of wine, CHECK!, camera, CHECK!, shades, CHECK!, powerade (oh yea CHECK) and headed out! the kids who run on little to none sleep were PUMPED to be headin out of dodge!

all in all, killer day, and you must try the chai tea when you go to red lodge. its pretty amazing.

i've discovered it. you ready? don't sit. truly. i've been a spring bee-boppin round and round for the last... mmmm ten hours, and its 2 in the afternoon and was just free stylin' to myself on my way to the library, stopped for some flower snaps...

(one of my current jobs which was to be sitting in a computer lab monitoring the, uh, monitors, has turned into making a recruitment video for MSU-B (HOLLA NIGGA WHAT?!) the intern video turned out to be a game changer after all!) buuuuuuut back to the secret, life was killer, UNTIL, the uninspiring SIT. I used to think it was the whole being in front of a computer screen that killed the vibe, no. its the sitting. i swear. and i know because the desk i have here i can stand at and the vibe lives on, until, the SIT. i'm SITting right now. i really should stand. but, i'll continue sitting.

mmm no, maybe not.

you know what's rad? they make desks for people who like to stand and work. at some point when i have an office or a whatever, i'm so not going to go for the average desk that mass marketing shoves in my face attempting to make me feel insecure about my standing ways. okay that part is my own fault, whatever, its a work in progress. dammit, i'm going to find that stand encouraging desk online and get that jazz. i saw one in one of the attorney's offices at the law firm in helena and while the oak stain was hideous, it was still a rad desk.
